fyi: this is a real place (as most of or all of them have been at this point) called Hashima, which is a “holy grail of urban decay”. Which in a way, makes sense because it alludes to the social isolation of the cult/terrorist group and also ties in with the main themes of alienation and abandonment in the show? just some thoughts.
